Your status page subscribers can now receive Early Warning Signals in addition to regular outage alerts.
Early Warning Signals is our flagship feature that detects outages before providers acknowledge them on their status pages.
When we launched this feature two years ago, we had no idea how effective or beloved it would become. StatusGator now regularly detects outages at your most important providers, giving you that edge and answering the question: “Is it everyone? Or is it just me?”.
Now, subscribers on your status page will get the same earlier heads-up you’ve been getting.
Give your subscribers an earlier warning
When someone subscribes to your StatusGator status page, they can choose to receive updates for all services or only specific services they care about. Now those email notifications will include Early Warning Signals if you’ve enabled them on the monitor. These are enabled on all monitors by default, but you can configure this option for each monitor.
When StatusGator detects signs of a possible outage, subscribers can receive an email such as:
The notification explains that StatusGator has detected a potential issue while the provider’s official status is still operational.
Subscribers can also report whether they’re experiencing the same problem, helping StatusGator collect additional outage reports and identify developing incidents faster.
