As promised, we’re continuing to expand our Early Warning Signals coverage. In addition to our recent integrations for Slack, SMS, and Webhooks, we’re excited to announce that Early Warning Signals now works in Microsoft Teams. This is another step toward making early outage alerts accessible wherever your conversations happen.
StatusGator’s Early Warning Signals algorithm detects outages before they are acknowledged by providers and keeps you informed of whether it’s everyone or just you.

What this means for you
If your team uses Microsoft Teams, you’ll now receive Early Warning Signals right alongside your regular StatusGator notifications. That means you can spot potential incidents or service degradation sooner — without switching tools — and act before they impact your operations.
How to disable Early Warning Signals
We believe you’ll love to get notified of major outages before providers acknowledge them. Early Warning Signals are enabled by default, so you’ll begin receiving these alerts automatically. If you’d like to review settings, you can:
- Per Monitor – Go to a monitor’s Settings → Notifications tab and toggle Early Warning Signals for that specific monitor.
- Globally – Go to Board Settings → Monitor Notifications to control Early Warning Signals for all monitors in that board.
Looking ahead
This is just the beginning. We’re already working on adding support to other popular chat platforms — Google Chat, Webex, and Discord — so you can get the same real-time warnings wherever your team collaborates.
