How OutboundSync Improved Transparency with StatusGator

OutboundSync, a powerful platform that helps marketers sync outbound sales data to CRMs like HubSpot and Salesforce, knows that transparency is key component of delivering a service that hundreds of teams rely on. And as an integration platform, OutboundSync is deeply reliant on other providers, making vendor reliability a key part of their own transparency.

That’s why OutboundSync chose StatusGator to host their platform status page and a companion page that publishes the status of all the tools their customers rely on. Let’s dive into how StatusGator solved key pain points for OutboundSync and their customers.

Key challenges

OutboundSync needed a simple way to communicate outages, track third-party issues, and keep users informed all without adding support overhead.

A status page for their own services

OutboundSync built a branded status page to show the real-time status of their own infrastructure, powered by StatusGator custom monitors and incidents. If anything goes wrong, their team can quickly publish an incident to keep their users informed. This incident shows on their public status page and is sent to customers who have opted into outage notifications.

They’ve also taken advantage of StatusGator’s status embed feature, displaying the current status of their service directly in the footer of their website. This keeps users informed without needing to click away, and ensures visibility at all times.

A separate page for third-party tools

But what really stands out is the second status page that OutboundSync built as a value-add for their customers: stack.outboundsyncstatus.com

This addition status page tracks the uptime of dozens of tools their customers rely on: from the CRMs and email sequencers that they integrate with, to marketing automation tools, GTM applications, AI systems, and many more SaaS apps that their customers use every day.

Since many of these services are deeply integrated with OutboundSync, any downtime or degraded performance can impact their customers’ workflows. Instead of leaving users in the dark, OutboundSync gives them one unified place to monitor third-party outages and subscribe to real-time alerts. Both OutboundSync and their customers can get advance notice of emerging outages with StatusGator’s Early Warning Signals, helping everyone stay ahead.

Key results

OutboundSync now offers real-time status updates and reduce support load for their growing team. They build trust with their customers through transparent, centralized monitoring, and they provide extra value by publishing third-party service statuses on a separate status page.

Why this setup works

With this thoughtful setup, OutboundSync doesn’t just monitor their own systems, they deliver a full-stack status experience:

  • A branded page for their product
  • A separate, public-facing page for third-party tools
  • Real-time notification options for their customers
  • An embedded status widget on their website
  • Early alerts about outages before providers acknowledge them

…all powered by StatusGator, with no custom code required. It’s a great example of how SaaS platforms can use StatusGator to improve incident communication and offer proactive transparency to their users.
