March 2026 Early Warning Signals

March 2026 saw a steady wave of service disruptions across SaaS platforms, developer tools, and infrastructure providers. What stood out wasn’t just the volume of incidents, but how early many of them surfaced.

Using StatusGator’s Early Warning Signals, outages were often detected well before providers acknowledged them, sometimes by minutes, and in several cases by more than an hour. For example, Apple Developer certificate failures were detected 2 hours 35 minutes earlier than the official update, and Asana issues appeared 1 hour 46 minutes earlier, giving teams critical time to investigate and respond.

StatusGator independently detected more than 800 outages in March, 20% of which were never acknowledged by providers official. This report highlights the most significant outages in March where early detection made a measurable difference, followed by other notable incidents throughout the month.

Why Early Warning Signals matter

March makes one thing clear: official status pages consistently lag behind real-world impact. By the time providers acknowledge an issue, users are often already affected.

Early Warning Signals close that gap. Detecting incidents minutes or even hours earlier gives teams the visibility they need to respond faster, reduce downtime, and stay ahead of outages.
