We’re excited to announce a new integration with our sister product, TrackSSL — making SSL certificate monitoring simpler and more powerful than ever, right within StatusGator.
What is TrackSSL?
TrackSSL is our dedicated SSL certificate monitoring tool, owned by operated by the same team that brings you StatusGator. It’s purpose-built for monitoring SSL certificates and can handle both external, public certificates and internal, private certificate monitoring. TrackSSL can alert you when certificates are about to expire, or when they change. It integrates with Slack and Teams or other services via Webhook.
TrackSSL is free to monitor up to 2 certificates and has several cost-effective plans for monitoring hundreds or thousands of certificates.
Seamless SSL monitoring, right from StatusGator
And now, TrackSSL integrates with StatusGator! If you’re already using TrackSSL to monitor SSL certificate expiration for your domains, you can now connect your account directly to StatusGator and view everything in one centralized location.
Once connected, your TrackSSL Certificates monitor will appear in your Monitors list, giving you real-time visibility into all your SSL certificates without having to switch between platforms. The status will flow through to your status pages plus all your views, embeds, and integrations.
Customize your certificate status rules
With this integration, SSL certificate statuses can be automatically reflected in your StatusGator monitors:
- Warn status: Show the certificate as WARN if it expires in 7 days (default, but customizable).
- Down status: Show the certificate as DOWN if it expires in 1 day (default, also customizable).

These thresholds help you stay ahead of certificate expirations and proactively communicate potential risks to your team or users.
Easy setup: just one API key
Connecting your TrackSSL account to StatusGator is quick and easy. All you need is your TrackSSL API key. Paste it into your StatusGator integration settings, and you’re all set.
Once connected, a new TrackSSL Certificates monitor will appear on your Monitors page. All your monitored domains will be listed under its Components tab, where you can view a detailed breakdown of each domain and its SSL certificate status.

Why this matters
Unnoticed SSL expirations can lead to outages, broken trust, and security warnings. This integration ensures:
✅ Centralized monitoring of all critical infrastructure
✅ Early warnings for expiring certificates
✅ Transparent communication with your team or users via your Status Page
Whether you’re already a TrackSSL user or if you’re not monitoring SSL certificates at all and are ready to get started, this integration is a must-have.
Start monitoring your SSL certificates the smart way — connect TrackSSL to StatusGator today.
