This improvement saves you time and simplifies setup, ensuring you have all the information you need at a glance. Whether you’re adding new monitors or reviewing your existing ones, managing your configuration has never been easier.
Quick reminder: what you can do with monitor configuration
- Change the display name for easier identification.
- Add an optional description to provide additional context for your team.
- Update the icon to visually distinguish your monitors.
Specifically for Website and Ping monitors:
- Configure status update frequency to match your monitoring needs.
- Choose the check type: monitor uptime or check for specific content.
- Select check locations, including the recently added UK East location.
- Access advanced settings, such as:
- Timeout: Set the maximum time allowed for requests to complete.
- HTTP Method: Define the request type (GET, POST, etc.).
- HTTP Basic Authentication: Ensure secure access.
Specifically for Service monitors:
- Filter components to focus on the most critical parts of your service.
- Configure notifications to stay informed about important updates.
