New: Restrict subscriber email addresses by domain

Table of contents

We’ve just rolled out a highly requested feature: Email domain restrictions for your status page subscribers!

Now you can control who subscribes to your status page updates by restricting access to email addresses from specific domains. Whether you want to limit subscriptions to internal team members or approved partners, this feature gives you the flexibility to manage your audience with precision.

How It Works

In your status page settings, you’ll find a new Allowed domains field. Simply enter one or more email domains, separated by commas — for example: yourcompany.com, partner.org

Only users with email addresses from those domains will be able to subscribe to your status page updates.

Why Use It?

  • Keep updates internal – Share incidents and maintenance updates only with your team or clients.
  • Control access – Prevent external users from subscribing to sensitive status updates.
  • Streamline communication – Ensure only relevant stakeholders receive notifications.

This feature is now live and ready to use on all plans. Head over to your status page settings and give it a try!
