We’re excited to roll out an improvement many of you have been asking for: extended historical metrics for website and ping monitors.
Until now, monitor metrics like availability, downtime, and response times were limited to the last 24 hours. While useful for short-term checks, this made it harder to spot trends, investigate intermittent issues, or understand long-term performance.
That changes today.
What’s new?
You can now view monitor metrics across multiple time ranges:
- Last hour
- Last 24 hours
- Last week
- Last month
This applies to both website and ping monitors, giving you a much clearer picture of how your services perform over time.
Why this matters
With extended time ranges, you can now:
- Identify performance trends instead of isolated spikes
- Debug recurring issues that don’t show up in a single day
- Compare regions more effectively with longer-term response data
- Make better infrastructure decisions backed by real historical metrics
Whether you’re tracking gradual latency increases or validating recent fixes, having more history makes all the difference.
What you’ll see
Inside Monitor Details → Metrics, you’ll find:
- Availability and downtime calculated for the selected period
- Response time graphs that adapt to your chosen range
- Regional breakdowns (average, max, and min response times)
- A quick time-range switcher in the top-right corner
Everything updates instantly when you change the time window—no reloads, no guesswork.
Available now
This update is live for all users and works automatically with your existing monitors. No setup required—just head to your monitor’s Metrics tab and start exploring beyond the last 24 hours.
As always, we’d love your feedback. If there’s another time range or metric you’d like to see next, let us know.
Happy monitoring!
