Outage map now available in your StatusGator board

We’re excited to introduce a helpful new update to your StatusGator experience – the service outage map is now built directly into your StatusGator account.

StatusGator has displayed outage heatmaps on our public website’s service landing pages. These maps helped users understand where issues were being reported across the globe. Now, we’ve taken that same valuable visibility and placed it inside your board.

Where to find the outage map

You can now access outage maps for any monitored service in just a couple of clicks:

  1. Go to your Monitors table inside your StatusGator account.
  2. Click on a service name, or click the menu next to it.
  3. Choose View details.
  4. Navigate to the Outage map tab.

While you’re there, you’ll also find a few other helpful tabs:

  • History – A chronological list of incidents for that service.
  • Components – Visible when the provider offers component-level details.
  • Service health – A chart showing our estimated service health over the last 24 hours, based on reported incidents and other detected signals. If you’re experiencing an issue, you can help other teams by reporting it.

What the map shows

The outage map displays geographical areas where users have reported issues over the past 24 hours.
This data is powered by real-time reports submitted by StatusGator users around the world. Each pin or cluster on the map indicates a region from which users have reported outages.

It’s a quick and visual way to understand whether service issues are isolated, localized, or widespread – helping your team diagnose impact and respond faster.

Why this matters

Bringing the outage map into your StatusGator account introduces several advantages:

  • Immediate visibility without leaving your board
  • Faster incident diagnosis with contextual outage data
  • Better understanding of whether issues are regional or widespread
  • Improved workflow with all monitoring tools in one place

A better way to monitor service health

This update reflects our ongoing commitment to give admins more insights and more control –without adding complexity. The new in-board outage map keeps your monitoring centralized, streamlined, and more informative than ever.

Log in to your StatusGator account today to explore the new Outage map tab and start gaining deeper insight into the global health of your monitored services.
