Phone numbers now supported in status page contact field

We’ve rolled out a small but useful improvement to the Status Page → General settings.

Previously, the Support contact field in the footer only accepted:

  • Email addresses
  • URLs

Based on feedback from our users, the field now also supports phone numbers.

Status pages in StatusGator already offer a variety of customization options – including custom branding, layouts, monitor visibility, subscriber settings, and privacy controls. This update adds even more flexibility by allowing teams to choose the most convenient contact method for their audience.

What changed

You can now add:

  • An email address
  • A website URL
  • A phone number

directly in the Support contact field.

The information added here will be reflected in the footer of your status page, making it easier for users to quickly find the best way to contact your team during incidents or maintenance events.

Thanks to everyone who shared feedback and suggested this improvement – keep it coming!
