Direct SaaS Uptime Monitoring in Real-Time with StatusGator
Using our global network of monitoring locations, StatusGator directly monitors SaaS uptime and the websites. This data gives us important insights into the uptime of the SaaS services you depend on.
We collect this data and use our platform to translate it into simple, clear, and informative information. This information can be communicated through notifications, integrations, or updates. Users can display this information on their team status page for SaaS uptime monitoring.
Leverage Early Warning Signals
Discover SaaS outages before they are published on official SaaS status pages. StatusGator has an elaborate network of landing pages for major service providers. Using this, we can collect data about visitors or users searching for outage data or experiencing issues.
We combine this data with user reports from certain channels such as Slack or Reddit. This combination lets us unofficially establish if there is likely a SaaS outage. By monitoring this data, we can send your team early warning notifications in those critical moments before outages are published to get you ahead.
Incident Management Integration
Improve your incident management process by integrating StatusGator with your existing tools. We offer ready-to-use integrations or using our API.
This integration is designed to automatically generate incidents and events. With this, we reduce manual entry requirements.
This enables your team to swiftly assess and address the impact of any issues on your critical services.
SMS and Chat Notifications
An important part of SaaS uptime monitoring is the immediate notification of any changes. This is usually communicated through the communication method of your choice.
Prefer SMS? Or Email? We can let you know directly to your phone or email if you wish. We also offer integrations with Slack, Teams, Google Chat, and more. These channels can also be used to communicate outages and issues with a service.
Our Slack integration even allows you to query the status of any service in your incident chat room. This allows you to monitor SaaS uptime efficiently.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where does StatusGator collect data for its SaaS uptime monitoring?
StatusGator collects official, published status data from each company’s official status page for SaaS uptime monitoring. Status pages are published by thousands of vendors to communicate service statuses. StatusGator relays this status page data into a clear, simple SaaS monitoring status page. We ensure that the data we aggregate is the official, published incident information to maintain accuracy.
How does StatusGator aggregate status pages for SaaS uptime monitoring?
StatusGator uses three methods to collect status data from official status pages for SaaS uptime monitoring. These are web scraping, documented APIs, and undocumented APIs. We use proprietary technology to collect and normalize the data from over 4000 vendors. Our platform constantly monitors and automatically detects outages. This ensures changes are made in real time. This ensures accurate, up-to-date information no matter how often SaaS uptime status changes.
What do the different statuses for SaaS uptime monitoring mean?
- [ warn ] – A minor incident as indicated by the status page. Usually, these incidents are listed in yellow or orange on a vendor’s status page.
- [ down ] – A major incident as indicated by the status page. Typically these incidents are listed in red on a service’s status page.
- [ maintenance ] – Scheduled, proactive maintenance as published on the status page. Sometimes these have no impact on a service but are published for informational purposes.
Can any SaaS service be added to the status page by StatusGator?
StatusGator can aggregate the status of any SaaS service using their public, official status page. If the service does not publish a status page, then we cannot aggregate their official statuses. If their status page is only available behind a login, we currently do not support this either for security reasons. That said, if there is a service you wish to monitor or be included in your StatusGator plan, then reach out to us and we will see what we can establish.
How often does StatusGator fetch SaaS uptime data?
StatusGator monitors and collects the status of SaaS applications from their official status page every 1 minute, ensuring changes are ingested into the status page on time and displayed in real-time.
Can I filter specific regions of a SaaS service?
Absolutely! StatusGator supports a critical feature that many status pages do not – the ability to filter to specific components of a given service. For many services, a component can be a region or a product. If you only use certain products, regions, or features of a given service, then you can use component filters to limit your notifications to only those that affect the components your team uses.
