We’ve updated our Microsoft Teams integration to support workflows — Microsoft’s new and recommended approach to incoming webhooks.
As Microsoft evolves its platform, it is phasing out the legacy Connectors feature in favor of Workflows. At StatusGator, we’re committed to keeping up with these changes so your integrations remain reliable and future-proof.
What’s changing
Microsoft is retiring Connectors, the feature that allowed apps like StatusGator to post messages into Teams channels.
To align with this transition, StatusGator now fully supports Workflows. This means your Teams alerts — including downtime, maintenance, and recovery notifications — can continue uninterrupted using the new webhook format.

What you need to do
When setting up or editing your Microsoft Teams integration in StatusGator, simply:
- Paste your workflow webhook URL (created in Microsoft Teams). See how in our helpdoc.
- Click Save
That’s it — you’re ready to go.
If you’re currently using the old Connector method, it will still work for now, but we highly recommend switching to Workflows to avoid interruptions as Microsoft phases out Connectors.
Stay connected, stay informed
StatusGator helps keep your team informed about outages and incidents across your services — and now, your Microsoft Teams integration is ready for the future.
We’re here to make sure platform changes never get in your way.
