The StatusGator mobile app is here

We’re excited to launch the StatusGator mobile app for iOS and Android, designed to put outage alerts right in the palm of your hand.

Your StatusGator status page is the central hub for your entire organization to view and understand the status of all your services. These pages have always been accessible on mobile. Now, with the dedicated app, end users of your status page can take the services they depend on with them and receive updates directly on their phones.

Anyone with access to your status page – whether it’s public or authenticated – can add it to the app. Getting started takes just a few seconds: click Subscribe to update then choose Mobile app, then scan the QR code with the StatusGator app. The entire status page and its monitors are added automatically.

From there, users can check service status, receive push notifications, including Early Warning Signals, choose which monitors they want alerts for, and report outages – all from the StatusGator app.

The app is available now on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Your status page, now in a dedicated app

The app works with the status page you already publish.

Simply scan the QR code to add your status page app and you can see all of its monitors and their current statuses at a glance. Does your team use more than one status page? You can add multiple pages and easily switch between them, keeping all the services you depend on within easy reach.

When something goes wrong, you can quickly see which service is affected and open the monitor for more information about its current status.

Get outage alerts and Early Warning Signals on your phone

One of the biggest advantages of the dedicated app is push notifications directly on your phone.

StatusGator can notify you about outages, incidents, recoveries, and other status changes. You can also receive Early Warning Signals when we detect a potential outage before the provider acknowledges it on their official status page.

This means you can find out about third-party issues earlier and quickly determine whether a problem your team is experiencing may be caused by a service you depend on.

You’re also in control of which alerts you receive. Choose which individual monitors you want notifications for, or mute notifications for an entire status page when you don’t need them.

See the services you depend on at a glance

Open a status page in the app to see all of its monitors and their current statuses in one place.

Tap any monitor to see more details, including its current status, incident information, and recent uptime history. You can also quickly open the provider’s official status page when you need more information.

Instead of checking multiple provider status pages, you have the services that matter to you together in one mobile view.

Report an outage from your phone

Think a service is down?

You can report an outage directly from the StatusGator app. Select the affected monitor, enter your email, describe what you’re experiencing, and submit your report—all from your phone.

These reports contribute to the outage signals StatusGator uses to identify potential service problems. Give back to the broader community by reporting what you see happening.

Add a status page in seconds

Getting your status pages into the app is super easy.

On your StatusGator status page, click Subscribe to updates then Mobile app to display the QR code.

Then open the StatusGator app, tap Scan QR code, and scan it.

That’s it. The status page and all of its monitors are added to your app.

You can repeat the same process to add multiple status pages and easily switch between them in the app.

Don’t have the app yet? Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera to download StatusGator, or get it directly from the App Store or Google Play.
