More info: This issue will only impact users who sync their contacts with Microsoft Teams. Users can self mitigate this impact by turning off the sync functionality.
Current status: We've received reports where Outlook.com users who sync their contact lists with Microsoft Teams are seeing unexpected. We're making a configuration change to stop the creation of these duplicate contacts and we'll have a timeline for remediation by our next communications update.
