We are thrilled to unveil the first round of updates for StatusGator in 2024, bringing a ton of new enhancements to the product. Let’s explore the latest additions and improvements introduced last month:
Introducing the enhanced Status embed integration
Explore various embed styles, ranging from sleek minimalism to striking prominence, to align with your website’s aesthetic and your personal preferences. If your website features a dark theme, worry not – you can seamlessly switch your embed to a dark mode, ensuring a cohesive style. Additionally, enjoy the flexibility of choosing from three different size options to find the perfect fit for your needs.
Check out the new compact status page layout option
If you have a long list of monitors to keep track of, we’ve got you covered. We’ve added a 3-column option for a more condensed view, enabling you and your team to efficiently scan through your monitors on the status page with ease. You can choose any of the layout options as your default, but individual users can still choose their own theme which is remembered.
Looking to remove status page subscribers? Now you can!
If you’ve enabled users to subscribe to updates from your status page, then you may occasionally find users subscribed that you wish to remove. Now you can. Just click on Subscribers under your Status Page settings and browse the list of status page subscribers. The new remove button allows you to clean up old users with ease.
Status page shares now look even better!
When you share links to your status page, they’ll now include a special custom image featuring your status page name and icon, giving them a distinctive look. The image includes your favicon (or logo, if you have not uploaded an icon), plus your status page title and subtitle. Try it out and make your shared links stand out!
Text status page
We just released a nerdy new feature for all the terminal users out there: You can see your status page in a terminal-friendly text format just by cURLing your status page URL directly from your command line. For example:
