Services quickly restored back to their normal level after the event and we are investigating the fault with the provider.

Direct services from Maidstone to THN should be considered at risk for the time being.

Services traversing GOS,SOV,MER,GS2,THN. And services direct services from Maidstone to GOS are not impacted by this event.

The provider has been contacted to find out if there are to be any further outages between the two sites and what the root cause of this outage was. Updates will follow as investigations with the provider progress. We will strive to keep customer impact to a minimum as always. This is being tracked under [CDC-ID: # 248547]

Custodian staff will be performing cabling alterations in our racks at THN and GS2. This is an at risk window only, we do not anticipate causing any interruptions to service.

UK Power Networks will be performing Essential maintenance on all three of our on-site substations at our Maidstone Data Centre.

This necessitates the isolation of all grid supplies to the Data Centre for up to a 12-hour period.

We will be transferring load to our resilient on-site generator farms prior to the works and remaining on this until we have confirmation that works have been completed, and we are confident the returned supply is healthy. Therefore, although minimal, customers should consider both power feeds to be “at-risk” during the period detailed above.

During this period, engineers will be performing routine electrical testing (EICR) of local distribution boards that supply DF1 at our Maidstone facility.

Each feed will be worked on separately, so only one feed should be considered at risk at any time.

The on-site team will closely monitor our power systems while this maintenance is underway.

We do not anticipate this maintenance to affect any clients during this window.
