SUMMARY: Chrome Browser Password Manager Issue We are experiencing an issue with Chrome Browser where impacted users may be unable to find or save passwords in Chrome's Password Manager. This impacts users on M127 version of Chrome Browser. Our Engineering team has identified the cause of the Chrome Browser Password Manager issue and are actively working on deploying a fix for all users. We will continue to monitor the situation as the fix is rolled out to ensure a smooth resolution. We will provide more information by Thursday, 2024-07-25 09:45 US/Pacific. WORKAROUND: Users currently impacted by this can try the following: Launch Chrome with " --enable-features=SkipUndecryptablePasswords" command line flag. 1. Locate Chrome shortcut on desktop. If you don't have it, go to chrome://settings/manageProfile and at the bottom enable "Create desktop shortcut". 2. Fully exit Chrome 3. Go to desktop and right click the shortcut then click Properties. 4. To the target field paste the following string to the end " --enable-features=SkipUndecryptablePasswords". 5. Close the dialog with OK and launch Chrome using this shortcut. |

Google Workspace is a Chat, Communications, and Productivity solution that StatusGator has been monitoring since May 2015. Over the past about 9 years, we have collected data on on more than 546 outages that affected Google Workspace users. When Google Workspace publishes downtime on their status page, they do so across 29 components using 3 different statuses: up, warn, and down which we use to provide granular uptime metrics and notifications.
More than 2,200 StatusGator users monitor Google Workspace to get notified when it's down or has an outage. This makes it one of the most popular chat services monitored on our platform. Google Workspace does not publish a feed of proactive maintenance events on their status page at this time. If they do, be sure to let us know and we'll aggregate Google Workspace maintenance events into your unified calendar.
When Google Workspace posts issues on their status page, we collect the main headline message and include that brief information or overview in notifications to StatusGator subscribers.
When Google Workspace has outages or other service-impacting events on their status page, we pull down the detailed informational updates and include them in notifications. These messages often include the current details about how the problem is being mitigated, or when the next update will occur.
