Details

The most recent updated to Chromium (v124) can cause Connect for Windows to stop filtering student devices correctly when Web mode is enabled and MITM is disabled. No other Connect versions or configurations, including Companion Mode, are affected.

If your school is affected you should take immediate action by enabling MTIM or changing to DNS filtering mode, or by rolling back Edge and Chrome to a previous version.

Currently, unmanaged BYOD devices may encounter issues with filtering. Our engineering team is currently working on a solution to this issue, and we will provide updates as they become available.
