Announcing the StatusGator Women in Tech Scholarship

At StatusGator, we believe the future of technology should reflect the diversity of the world it serves. That’s why we’re proud to announce the inaugural StatusGator Women in Tech Scholarship. The scholarship is a $1,500 award for a female-identifying high school senior and plans to pursue a degree in a technology-related field.

This scholarship is our small way of investing in a more equitable tech industry, one where women have a seat at the table, where opportunity isn’t limited by gender, and where the next generation of innovators comes from every background.

We’re launching this initiative at a time when diversity programs are being rolled back around the United States. Many of these changes are overshadowed by even darker headlines, but their cumulative impact is real. Diversity and inclusion aren’t about elevating unqualified people. They’re about ensuring that qualified individuals aren’t overlooked simply because of their gender, race, or background.

Cutbacks to programs that support underrepresented students are narrowing the pipeline of future technologists. We don’t believe that’s good for business or for the world. So we’re taking action, and we invite you to join us.

Want to support the scholarship?

We’ve partnered with Bold.org, a nonprofit that facilitates college scholarships at no cost to donors. Our scholarship fund is open for contributions from anyone who shares our commitment to this cause: customers, partners, friends, and fellow advocates.

Because Bold is a 501(c)(3) charity, 100% of your donation goes directly to scholarship recipients, and contributions are tax-deductible in the United States. Contribute to the StatusGator Women in Tech Scholarship.

Know someone who qualifies?

If you know a high school senior who might be eligible or a school counselor who could help spread the word, please share the link. Apply now.

The 2025 StatusGator Women in Tech Scholarship is open for applications until July 13, 2025. We’ve designed a straightforward essay prompt in collaboration with Bold. The winner will be announced on August 13, 2025.

Technology has the power to solve enormous problems for all people. Let’s make sure it’s being built by the people that technology serves.
