Each StatusGator board can be connected to one Slack channel. If you’d like to send updates to a different Slack channel (for example, for another team or department), simply create an additional board and connect it to the channel of your choice.
Any team member can type
/statusgator [service name]
in any Slack channel to run an on-demand status check. The bot responds with the current status of the matching service. If multiple services match, it presents a list to select from.
