We have received multiple reports that the Amazon Alexa skill for WJCT News 89.9 is again not activating when users say "Alexa, play WJCT" or Alexa, play WJCT News 89.9". We have escalated the issue with Amazon, and they are working to resolve the issue.

We have been working with Amazon to resolve the issue with the WJCT Public Media Alexa skills, and we believe we have found a solution. We implemented a fix and are currently monitoring the result. It may take up to 72 hours to be complete.

If you try one of these actions and do not get the expected results, first, try unplugging your Echo device for 10 seconds and restarting it. If that doesn't work, try clearing the cache on your Alexa app. If you have an [Android, follow these instructions](https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=GBRMBVSSWHAU7FS8). Unfortunately, if you have an iPhone or iPad as your companion device for your Amazon Echo, you'll need to uninstall the Alexa app and reinstall it to clear the app cache.
