Over the past over 6 years, we have collected data on on more than 6,210 outages that affected Google Cloud Data users. When Google Cloud Data publishes downtime on their status page, they do so across 937 components and 150 groups using 3 different statuses: up, warn, and maintenance which we use to provide granular uptime metrics and notifications.
More than 100 StatusGator users monitor Google Cloud Data to get notified when it's down, is under maintenance, or has an outage. Currently, down notifications are not supported by the Google Cloud Data status page. That means all notifications from their page will show in the warn state. If you need better differentiation, please get in touch.
Warn notifications are used when Google Cloud Data is undergoing a non-critical issue like minor service issues, performance degradation, non-core bugs, capacity issues, or problems affecting a small number of users.
Google Cloud Data posts separate notifications for planned maintenance work. StatusGator will notify subscribers when Google Cloud Data enters a pre-planned maintenance window, keeping you up to date.
