In May 2025, several EdTech platforms experienced service disruptions, impacting students, educators, and administrators. StatusGator’s Early Warning Signals feature once again provided timely alerts — often before the affected providers posted updates. Here are the top five EdTech outages detected by StatusGator in May:

1. NWEA Outage – May 14, 2025

5. EBSCO Outage – May 2, 2025

Issue Summary: Issues accessing the service with 404 and 406 errors.
StatusGator Detection: May 2, 2025, 4:07 PM
Officially Acknowledged: 18 minutes later

These outages highlight the importance of real-time visibility for educational platforms. With StatusGator’s Early Warning Signals, schools and institutions stayed one step ahead — detecting problems before official sources responded. As EdTech becomes increasingly critical, early detection ensures fewer disruptions to learning.
