Early Warning Signals now in Discord

We’re rolling out Early Warning Signals to yet another place your team works every day: Discord. With this release, nearly all of our chat integrations now deliver Early Warning Signals—bringing you proactive outage alerts no matter where your team collaborates.

Already available by email, SMS, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, and webhooks, Early Warning Signals are now live in Discord too—closing the gap and making sure your team is covered wherever you communicate.

What this means for your team

If your team relies on Discord, you’ll now receive real-time notifications about potential outages directly in your server. That means you’ll know about problems before they’re officially reported—without needing to leave the tool where your conversations are already happening.

How it works

Our detection system continuously analyzes provider behavior, traffic shifts, and community reports to uncover early indicators of service disruptions. If something looks unusual, you’ll see an alert in Discord—even before the provider acknowledges the incident.

Things you can do with it

  • React quickly: Jump on potential issues as soon as they appear and minimize downtime.
  • Keep everyone informed: Share unified visibility across your apps and services, right inside Discord.
  • Customize your notifications: Fine-tune which monitors deliver Early Warning Signals so your team only sees what matters most.

How to manage settings

Early Warning Signals are on by default. You’ll automatically begin receiving these alerts in Discord, but you can adjust them anytime:

  • For a single monitor: Go to the monitor’s Settings → Notifications tab and toggle Early Warning Signals.
  • For your entire board: Visit Board Settings → Monitor Notifications to enable or disable them globally.
