We’ve added new organization-level security and privacy controls to give admins more control over how their StatusGator account is accessed and how data is used.
You can now manage these settings from Organization settings → Security options.
What’s new

Support access controls
Admins can now explicitly control whether StatusGator support staff are allowed to access their organization for troubleshooting and support.
- Allow StatusGator support access (on by default)
- Disable access if your organization requires stricter internal controls
- Easily re-enable access temporarily if support assistance is needed
This gives security-conscious teams greater visibility and control over account access.
Admin sign-in requirements with SSO
For organizations using SSO, we’ve added a new option that controls how admins can sign in:
- Allow admin sign-in without SSO (on by default)
- When enabled, admins may still sign in with email and password as a fallback
- When disabled, all users – including admins – must sign in via SSO
This helps teams enforce stricter authentication policies while still allowing flexibility if SSO is unavailable.
Outage report training and analysis controls (Enterprise)
Enterprise customers now have the option to control how outage report data is used:
- Allow outage report training and analysis (on by default)
- When enabled, StatusGator may analyze outage report text to generate concise summaries
- When disabled, outage reports will not be summarized using LLMs
This option is available on Enterprise plans and can be enabled or disabled at the organization level.
Why this matters
These new security options make it easier to:
- Enforce internal security and compliance requirements
- Control administrative access paths
- Manage how organizational data is analyzed and processed
- Align StatusGator with company-wide security policies
We’ll continue expanding organization-level controls to give teams more transparency, flexibility, and confidence in how their monitoring data is handled.
As always, let us know if you have feedback or additional security features you’d like to see.
