: RingCentral Americas regional outage hits login and outbound calling
RingCentral experienced a partial outage in the Americas region, impacting customers in Central and South America. Some users could not log in to the RingCentral app, and others were unable to place outbound calls, affecting messaging and voice services for a subset of accounts. The incident affected two components: Americas / Messaging and Americas / Calling - Outbound.
The provider issued three updates to communicate progress. The issues began at and were followed by a second update at noting continued problems with outbound calls, while Messaging returned to normal. A final update at confirmed the outbound calling service was restored. The outage lasted roughly 3 hours and 30 minutes before full recovery.
