More control over Website and Ping monitor notifications

You can now choose which status changes trigger alerts for Website and Ping monitors, bringing the same notification control previously available only for Service monitors.

Keep recovery notifications on, focus on downtime, or include SSL warnings for your websites. Adjust each monitor to receive the alerts that matter to you.

Website monitor notifications

Choose which status changes you want to be notified about:

  • Warn: When the monitor enters a warning state, such as when its SSL certificate reaches your configured warning threshold.
  • Down: When a website check fails or its SSL certificate reaches your configured down threshold.
  • Up: When the monitor recovers after an outage or warning.

Ping monitor notifications

For Ping monitors, choose whether to receive:

  • Down: When the monitored host stops responding, based on your configured timeout, retries, and check locations.
  • Up: When the host becomes reachable again after an outage.

Configure your alerts

Open a Website or Ping monitor’s configuration, select Notifications, choose the notification types you want to receive, and click Save.

To manage notifications for all monitors on a board, click the three-dot menu next to the board name in the left sidebar, open Board settings, and select Monitor notifications.
