Google engineer have localised the issue to the Android App for Google Classroom version 8.0.141.20.90.2 Affected users should:-
- Delete and reinstall the Classroom application via Google Play store to mitigate the issue.

The affected users are unable to access Google Meet, but we've provided a workaround below. All Chromebox for Meet devices are displaying the "Waiting for application window" upon reboot; and a regular reboot afterwards does not resolve this.
Our engineering team is actively working on root-causing and resolving the issue. As a workaround users can reboot the Chromebox while disconnected from the network

About Our Google Workspace Status Page Integration

Google Workspace is a Chat, Communications, and Productivity solution that StatusGator has been monitoring since May 2015. Over the past over 8 years, we have collected data on on more than 498 outages that affected Google Workspace users. When Google Workspace publishes downtime on their status page, they do so across 26 components using 3 different statuses: up, warn, and down which we use to provide granular uptime metrics and notifications.
