We continue to experience an outage in France which is a direct result of what appears to be deliberate damage to some of our leased fibre infrastructure. We’re really sorry for any resulting service interruption. Getting our business customers back online as quickly as possible remains our top priority and our teams are working very hard to make sure this happens. We’re working closely with local partners and authorities in the area and will provide more information when we can.

We’re currently experiencing an outage in France which is affecting some of our services in the area. Getting our business customers back online as quickly as possible is our top priority and we’re really sorry for any service interruption. We have well-established processes in place and we’re currently working through our incident management process. We’re unable to provide any further details but we’re working with the local authorities to establish the cause.
15:30 BST 19/07/24
We experienced some issues earlier today that affected a small number of customers. These are now resolved and there is no longer any impact. If you are experiencing any issues please contact our Support Teams.
11:45 BST 19/07/24
Further investigation has found that the issue is impacting some of our Colties who joined from Lumen EMEA and on applications provided by Lumen. There is no impact to our network and customers can follow the usual escalation process for any questions or concerns.
Any customers affected by activation issues have been contacted and all other service activations will continue as normal.
We will continue to provide more information on this page as soon as it becomes available.

Impact on Colt customers of global outage

Further investigation has found that the issue is impacting some of our Colties who joined from Lumen EMEA and on applications provided by Lumen. There is no impact to our network and customers can follow the usual escalation process for any questions or concerns.
Customers with service activations today that have been affected due to this outage will be contacted directly to rearrange.
We will continue to provide more information on this page as soon as it becomes available.

Over the past over 1 year, we have collected data on on outages that affected Colt users. When Colt publishes downtime on their status page, they do so using 3 different statuses: up, warn, and down which we use to provide granular uptime metrics and notifications.
Many StatusGator users monitor Colt to get notified when it's down or has an outage. We've sent more than 100 notifications to our users about Colt incidents, providing transparency and peace of mind. You can get alerts by signing up for a free StatusGator account.
If Colt is having system outages or experiencing other critical issues, red down notifications appear on the status page. In most cases, it means that core functions are not working properly, or there is some other serious customer-impacting event underway.
