Issues unable to load the Admin Center on POD29

Details

We’re aware of and working on mitigating issues for customers on Pod 29 who are unable to load the Admin Center and are getting “The page isn’t working” error. Other products also seem to be unavailable from the Product tray with “Can’t load Zendesk products. Try again” error. Next update in 30 minutes, or when we have more to share.

Details

We are aware of a Chat and Messaging issue for some customers wherein an agent's full name will be displayed in the Web Widget and conversations instead of their Chat display name. This impacts customers who have migrated to the Omnichannel Backend Routing. In order to ensure your agent's names are sent in chat and messaging with only their intended alias you will need to perform the following actions: Set a Support alias in addition to your Chat display name Update Chat shortcuts to not use {{agent_name}} Our teams are reviewing this behavior and we will provide further updates as they become available. Please reach out to our Customer Advocacy team if you have any questions.

About Our Zendesk Status Page Integration

Zendesk is a CRM solution that StatusGator has been monitoring since January 2017. Over the past over 7 years, we have collected data on on more than 10,195 outages that affected Zendesk users. When Zendesk publishes downtime on their status page, they do so across 93 components and 10 groups using 3 different statuses: up, warn, and down which we use to provide granular uptime metrics and notifications.

More than 500 StatusGator users monitor Zendesk to get notified when it's down or has an outage. This makes it one of the most popular crm services monitored on our platform. We've sent more than 185,100 notifications to our users about Zendesk incidents, providing transparency and peace of mind. You can get alerts by signing up for a free StatusGator account.

If Zendesk is having system outages or experiencing other critical issues, red down notifications appear on the status page. In most cases, it means that core functions are not working properly, or there is some other serious customer-impacting event underway.

Warn notifications are used when Zendesk is undergoing a non-critical issue like minor service issues, performance degradation, non-core bugs, capacity issues, or problems affecting a small number of users.

Zendesk does not post separate notifications for planned maintenance work so we are unable to send notifications when maintenance windows begin. If you need Zendesk maintenance notifications, please email us.

Zendesk does not publish a feed of proactive maintenance events on their status page at this time. If they do, be sure to let us know and we'll aggregate Zendesk maintenance events into your unified calendar.

When Zendesk posts issues on their status page, we collect the main headline message and include that brief information or overview in notifications to StatusGator subscribers.

When Zendesk has outages or other service-impacting events on their status page, we pull down the detailed informational updates and include them in notifications. These messages often include the current details about how the problem is being mitigated, or when the next update will occur.

Because Zendesk has several components, each with their individual statuses, StatusGator can differentiate the status of each component in our notifications to you. This means, you can filter your status page notifications based on the services, regions, or components you utilize. This is an essential feature for complex services with many components or services spread out across many regions.
